Merge tag 'mm-nonmm-stable-2026-04-15-04-20' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/mm
Pull non-MM updates from Andrew Morton:
- "pid: make sub-init creation retryable" (Oleg Nesterov)
Make creation of init in a new namespace more robust by clearing away some historical cruft which is no longer needed. Also some documentation fixups
- "selftests/fchmodat2: Error handling and general" (Mark Brown)
Fix and a cleanup for the fchmodat2() syscall selftest
- "lib: polynomial: Move to math/ and clean up" (Andy Shevchenko)
- "hung_task: Provide runtime reset interface for hung task detector" (Aaron Tomlin)
Give administrators the ability to zero out /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_detect_count
- "tools/getdelays: use the static UAPI headers from tools/include/uapi" (Thomas Weißschuh)
Teach getdelays to use the in-kernel UAPI headers rather than the system-provided ones
- "watchdog/hardlockup: Improvements to hardlockup" (Mayank Rungta)
Several cleanups and fixups to the hardlockup detector code and its documentation
- "lib/bch: fix undefined behavior from signed left-shifts" (Josh Law)
A couple of small/theoretical fixes in the bch code
- "ocfs2/dlm: fix two bugs in dlm_match_regions()" (Junrui Luo)
- "cleanup the RAID5 XOR library" (Christoph Hellwig)
A quite far-reaching cleanup to this code. I can't do better than to quote Christoph:
"The XOR library used for the RAID5 parity is a bit of a mess right now. The main file sits in crypto/ despite not being cryptography and not using the crypto API, with the generic implementations sitting in include/asm-generic and the arch implementations sitting in an asm/ header in theory. The latter doesn't work for many cases, so architectures often build the code directly into the core kernel, or create another module for the architecture code.
Change this to a single module in lib/ that also contains the architecture optimizations, similar to the library work Eric Biggers has done for the CRC and crypto libraries later. After that it changes to better calling conventions that allow for smarter architecture implementations (although none is contained here yet), and uses static_call to avoid indirection function call overhead"
- "lib/list_sort: Clean up list_sort() scheduling workarounds" (Kuan-Wei Chiu)
Clean up this library code by removing a hacky thing which was added for UBIFS, which UBIFS doesn't actually need
- "Fix bugs in extract_iter_to_sg()" (Christian Ehrhardt)
Fix a few bugs in the scatterlist code, add in-kernel tests for the now-fixed bugs and fix a leak in the test itself
- "kdump: Enable LUKS-encrypted dump target support in ARM64 and PowerPC" (Coiby Xu)
Enable support of the LUKS-encrypted device dump target on arm64 and powerpc
- "ocfs2: consolidate extent list validation into block read callbacks" (Joseph Qi)
Cleanup, simplify, and make more robust ocfs2's validation of extent list fields (Kernel test robot loves mounting corrupted fs images!)

decode_stacktrace: decode caller address
Decode the caller address instead of the return address by default. This also introduced -R option to provide return address decoding mode.
This changes the decode_stacktrace.sh to decode the line info 1byte before the return address which will be the call(branch) instruction address. If the return address is a symbol address (zero offset from it), it falls back to decoding the return address.
This improves results especially when optimizations have changed the order of the lines around the return address, or when the return address does not have the actual line information.

Merge series from Andreas Kemnade <andreas@kemnade.info>:
Add a driver for the FP9931/JD9930 regulator which provides the comparatively high voltages needed for electronic paper displays.
Datasheet for the FP9931 is at https://www.fitipower.com/dl/file/flXa6hIchVeu0W3K
Although it is in English, it seems to be only downloadable from the Chinese part of that website. For the JD9930 there can be a datasheet found at https://e2e.ti.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/196/JD9930_2D00_0.7_2D00_JUN_2D00_2019.pdf
To simplify things, include the hwmon part directly which is only one register read and there are not other functions besides regulators in this chip.

ASoC: Intel: avs: Allow for NHLT configuration
Merge series from Cezary Rojewski <cezary.rojewski@intel.com> From AudioDSP perspective, only gateway-related modules e.g.: Copier:
Small set of changes providing new feature which the driver is already utilizing on the market - for its Long-Term-Support (LTS) devices.
The goal is to cover systems which shipped with invalid Non HDAudio Link Table (NHLT) - not just the descriptors (headers), but cases where the hardware configuration is invalid too. The table is part of the ACPI tree and forcing BIOS updates is not a feasible solution. With the override, the topology file can carry the hardware configuration instead.
From AudioDSP perspective, only gateway-related modules e.g.: Copier care about the procedure. To ensure correct order of operations when initializing such modules, the overrides take precedence over what's currently there in the NHLT.

scripts/decode_stacktrace.sh: fix build ID and PC source parsing
Support for parsing PC source info in stacktraces (e.g. '(P)') was added in commit 2bff77c665ed ("scripts/decode_stacktrace.sh: fix decoding of lines with an additional info"). However, this logic was placed after the build ID processing. This incorrect order fails to parse lines containing both elements, e.g.:
drm_gem_mmap_obj+0x114/0x200 [drm 03d0564e0529947d67bb2008c3548be77279fd27] (P)
This patch fixes the problem by extracting the PC source info first and then processing the module build ID. With this change, the line above is now properly parsed as such:
drm_gem_mmap_obj (./include/linux/mmap_lock.h:212 ./include/linux/mm.h:811 drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem.c:1177) drm (P)
While here, also add a brief explanation the build ID section.
